Pilgrimage Isle Of Man

What is a pilgrimage? It is a time set aside to make a journey of reflection, discovery, challenge or devotion; for many, it is a journey of mind, body and soul. It can be time spent with friends - or a space for quiet; a chance to explore the landscape around you or a world within; a chance to step aside from the busyness of life... and let your soul catch up...

We are an "umbrella" group drawing together local heritage, tourism and faith groups whose passion it is to see the visual and historical treasures of the Isle of Man discovered, explored and - most importantly - enjoyed.

We will soon be adding a rich treasury of material for meditation - from sources including the Celtic Saints and Manx National Poet T.E. Brown - we hope these will be of interest to those following the routes to make an actual spiritual pilgrimage.

The LAUNCH of PILGRIMAGE ISLE OF MAN took place on Saturday 10 September 2016 - starting in warm autumn evening sunshine on St Patrick's Isle, with a JOURNEY OF REFLECTION led by Bishop Robert.
